Peace of the Countryside
 |
|
| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
...the setting definitely looks very peaceful, but its treacherous...
There are lots of small pools and lakes in that area so everytime I stopped cycling and trying to take a picture the midges would attack me cruelly.
So it was becoming a sort of competition to stop and trying to take the picture I wanted to before the midges would start registering me :)
Picture taken somewhere in between of Oykel Bridge and Ledmore Junction.
Thanks for looking. |

Hi Laura,
It is really peacefull atmosphere, and you represent it with good composition and vivid colors.
thank you
Cem
I like a lot the colors, here, and in particular the contrast with the blue of the boat.
A nice quiet atmosphere

Hi Laura,
I just love the wide spectrum of colours that you are able to capture from this simple but lovely composition. The boat suggested the presence of human activity while the lake projects extra visual space which added depth and interest.Well done!!
Best regards and thanks.
Hi Laura,
Beautiful composition, very peaceful. Not including the sky is a great idea, as we can appreciate the great contrast between the superb natural colors of the land and the painted ones on the boat. Very peaceful.
