Hi Joel,
Classic coastal view. Love the receding water around that foreground rock. The red colors in the distance pull our eyes back and give everything a nice depth as does your low POV. Good to hear that your kit didn't suffer - getting wet is par for the course though.
One tip that you might be able to use regarding sharpening. If you look very closely at the edge between the red cliffs and the sky you'll see a thin white line/ halo. To avoid this I do two things. First I use a technique of subtle multiple sharpening passes. For an image this size I would set the strength to 30%, the radius to .3 and then apply those settings 2-3 times. For the 3rd or even 4th pass (if needed) I sometimes reduce the strength to 20%. Keep an eye on areas like the cliff face and sky edge for halos. (Tree branches suffer more quickly than anything else.) If you see a halo starting back down and then select just the area of the image you want to sharpen up to the edge and apply sharpening there only. The sky doesn't need as much sharpening anyway. Does that make sense? That mitigates those halos and allows for the sharpest image possible.
Looking forward to seeing more.
Cheers!

Hello Joel,
Very nice long exposure shot!
The roc in the foreground makes an excellent point to come in the picture.
Nice work.
