Photographer’s Note
This rocky coast near Stafin, on Isle of Skye is just incredible. The work of errosion is visible. I think it may be basaltic rock, but I'm not sure
I have posted two different views to give a better impression of this place.

This place looks beautiful. I love the blues but I particularly like the reflections of the sky and the rocks on the water.
Great composition too. The horizon is nice and high, and the rocks frame nicely! Clear, sharp, just lovely. Would make a great postcard.
I'll have to go there for some photography when I'm in the UK next. Thanks for sharing
Nyssa :)

It looks positively unearthly.
I love this kind of photographs.
The light, composition, sharpness, colors are really good.
Reflections add so much to it.
And I guess you had good luck with the weather. Without the sun the view would be pretty boring...

Very good picture, lucky to get such a still day for the reflections. I like the different colours of blue in the pool, sea, distant hills and sky. Looks like you had glorious weather for your Spring trip.
The rock looks very like basalt - certainly like volcanic rock of some sort. We have lots of it here in East Lothian on the other side of the country.
Cheers

Very intersting rocky formation indeed, the water reflections are so nice I'd love to see a portrait orientation of this one :)
What are those white formations?
