Photographer’s Note

Good day to all viewers,

photograph was taken during my summer hollidays in Scotland year ago, from the path above Kinlochleven. Sun was hidden behind the hills and dark cloud came from north side.

Extremely hard picture to take because of the contrast light/shadow.

Brilliant Photo Adrian. You have done well to still capture detail in the surrounding hillside. It's s gloomy capture but one that reminds me of Emily Bronte in Wathering Heights.

Indeed, very hard to capture both highlighted areas as well as the darker parts. I guess we'll both have to learn RAW processing in order to make good HDR such as this one: http://www.trekearth.com/gallery/photo917075.htm
