Photographer’s Note
The Falkkirk Wheel is a boat lift that connects the Forth Canal with the Union Canal. It is located near the town of Falkirk in Scotland, hence the name, and was opened in 2002.
I hope you like this photo.

Hello Martijn,a good POV of the Wheel, I haven't seen it from this angle before.
Good sharpness and good perspective.
Did you go on a boat and experience the Wheel?
Tfs, regards Jean.

Hi Martijn,
Jammer dat het weer hier niet optimaal was, hoewel je hier een mooie glinstering in het water hebt weten vast te leggen rondom dit impressieve gevaarte. Goede compositie met het Wheel aan de linkerkant.
Groeten,
Lars

Hi Martijn, Its a very good photo & the little orange generator to the right add great scale, a superbly impressive piece of engineering, the light is excellent considering the sky is so overcast, TFS, kind regards Wilson.

Hallo Martijn,
Een prima foto van dit technisch hoogstandje in Schotland. Ik ben gefascineerd door de vernuftige wijze waarmee de schepen op een ander niveau worden getild.
Groet Rob

The light was probably hard to manage and it's not your best shot, but this place is so crazy, so interesting !!! That's why it's a good post.

Hello Martijn,
I have seen this from a different angle once and it is an incredible construction!
The point of view works well and gives fine dynamic lines to the composition...
Maybe I miss some sort of scaling but no big deal!
Greetings,
