#400 - Edinburgh Reflections

Today, it's time for my 400th picture on TE, so why not a photo of one of my favourite subjects, a reflection? :-)

The photo is taken in Edinburgh (Nicolson Street), just after we arrived and when we were on our way to the hotel. Seen here is Surgeons' Hall, the largest medical museum in Scotland, in the reflection of the modern facade of the Festival Theatre.

Not much else to say about the photo. The photo will be added to my Reflection-theme of course. :-)

het is een fraaie die gezien mag worden, zeer goed reflectie photo, good pov and very nice quality. goed werk. prettige dag verder.

Now, many a time I've walked past these buildings, seen the wonderful reflections and never, ever thought of taking a photograph. You have shown beautifully that the secret to good and original photographs is to keep your eyes open!

As usual, perfectly exposed and sharp as a pin.

I like the distorted, mutiple 'panel' effect, of the reflections in the glass. Good sharpness & colour, in this semi abstract architectural shot. Tfs!

Hey Lars,

Another great take on the broken reflections so to speak. The motive "behind the scenes" is impressive. while putting the whole photo in such a perspective (reflections) leaves a place for some interesting details, like the huge poster, and the lights within the building. Quite economical that - using the reflections to show us .. well, more stuff. :>

The picture is itself clear and sharp, but one comes to expect that in your gallery.

Congratulation for your 400th picture. This reflection gives a very interesting resulting, since the different glass panels are completly breaking the rather severe classical facade of the museum.

Olá Lars, congratulations for the 400th upload. I'm trying to get there as well ;-) Very nice reflection you got here. I specially like the breaking effect at upper left corner. It seems that the Classical façade is falling apart, as if an earthquake was happening in the moment you pushed the button. But people at the bottom seem very relaxed, so I guess that everything was ok ;-)

Hej Lars,
for a 400 congratulations and thanks for those moments. But one single and repetitive failure is in this capture. I would have expected 400 reflections and we have only 10! ;-) But 10 nice pieces of a large puzzle for the eye. Good light and clarity, superb point for sharpness.
