Photographer's Note
I've been out several times over the past week but haven't managed to come back with anything spectacular. On this particular evening, the sun wasn't cooperating and this moody sky was the result. Just off the point in the distance (Cataclews at the end of Harlyn beach in north Cornwall), you can see a hint of sun as it disappeared below the horizon.
I found this rock pool a little way back from where the waves were crashing up over the rocks: an oasis of calm. It pays to be wary around the rocks as a big set of waves come every so often and can sweep you away! Oh yes, and always keep your kit in a bag, zipped up and on your back in case you have to run!!
regards
Lindsay

This brings back fond memories of exploring rock pools on the Cornish coast as a nipper - Like a world within a world.
Got caught by the tide once at Bedruthen Steps and made it back to the beach whilst on my dads shoulders [he was wading through the chest deep and rising sea!]
Great shot. Love the light in the pool which is reflective of the sky.
