Hello Derek
I've just discovered your gallery and found it very interesting!
The POV is giving kind of dynamic impact to the scene with the rocks in FG adding depth. I like the luminosity, the pleasant golden tones and the peaceful atmosphere.
Cheers
Marilyn

The wide angle is dreamy, the jurassic formations have impressive geometry.

Hello Derek
Une bonne utilisation de ces rochers au premier plan qui donne de la dynamique et renforce la profondeur de cette photo. L'exposition est superbement gérée.
très beau travail!!
Amicalement

Excellent use of the elongated rocks in the foreground. Funnily enough the colour palette is similar to that of your Mono Lake shot. The yellow and blue are a very striking combination. Well done

Derek,
are you already done with your US shots? I can't believe it! There you were for almost 2 months scouting through the most scenic places of the US Southwest and posted just some "lousy" 26 pictures? With lousy I mean the number and not the quality ;-)
Well, but I also understand that having such a nice shot like this post that you get tempted in doing a break with the US shots and do something diferent inbetween.
Peter

nice colors and perspective...i like the contrasts between the blue sky and the yellowed rocks

Hello Daniel,
As a geologist I find your gallery quite inspiring.
The perspective here is very strong with both clouds and rock strata converging towards the same infinite point. Nice light
Cheers Eric /.

Hello Derek,

Très jolie, cette composition, avec toutes ces lignes qui nous amènent à l'horizon. Les couleurs sont superbes.
Bonne soirée
Marie

Hi Derek,
This might not be the one showing the most spectacular colors or contrasts in your beautiful nature gallery but I like this dramatic coast ans especially how the wide angle combined with the natural element lines creates an aspiration effect into the view.
Have a nice day JY
