Dartmoor in Spring. This is an exposed granite rock, after thousands of years of erosion.

Interesting and impressive place.
Good you have included the human figure, otherwise it is impossible to tell the size.
Is it a climbing place too ?
Regards Stefano

Nice light and a great place to visit.
I agree with the inclusion of the people in the frame.
I wonder if a little foreground interest and maybe a slightly wider view would have added to the shot.

BTW Heytor is one of classic examples of 'Wollsackverwitterung', lit. wool bag weathering, a common form of erosion in rocks such as granite and gneiss.

Hi David.
The presence of the figures in this makes it even more interesting than I expected from the thumbnail. The people certainly help to convey the scale of the rock. Nice shadows, gentle colour and light, and pleasing sharpness in this image.
Regards,
Andrew
