My Secret Bluebell Woods
 |
|
| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
Only in the month of May do the bluebells come out in all their glory. This is a magical place from my childhood. Patiently, I have waited for it's magic to appear. The smells, the stillness, the morning light dappling it's way through the leaves ... Mmmmm. Something from mother England I'll never forget.

What a beautiful splash of color! I am sure the blooms don't last so you need just the right day to catch the sun, shadows, and wild flowers. Very nice!
Hello Tim,
this is simply marvellous.
Only a dancing fairy is missing.
Thanks for sharing

Hello Tim,
The bluebells in the wood is a very English, spring phenomenum! I think many of us have such memories!
I love your composition, obeying the rule of thirds, and the loely dappling effect created by the interplay of the sun and the branches.
It is just a lttle soft so I have done a w/s for you. Tell me what you think.
Kind regards,
Bev :-)

Beautifully done Tim.
The dappled light is superb and the colours are fresh and bright. I don't know what it is about the forests and wooded areas of England but they have such appeal for me and so different from our rain forests here on the west coast. Must be a reminder of my youth in Surrey.
Good work.

Hello Tim,
Beautiful light on the bluebell in full bloom, of course green is also beautiful. This is a magical place indeed.
Lovely work!
Have a nice day, Hisashi
