[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Taken one overcast day in early December. There was no-one else around as I walked in the drizzle around Rydal Water near Ambleside in the Lake District. Any sensible person would have been inside keeping warm - perhaps sitting around a log-fire. I feel though that the inclement weather has made this shot more interesting.

Hi Marlene

Very lovely and melancholy shot. Those mist over the island and the water is looking great. The sitting bench in foreground looking added very meaningful substance to this photo. Great composition and a very unique POV.

Regards,

Lopshang.

Olá Marlene,
I also think that the weather has made this photo more interesting and dramatic. I like of the composition and colors.

Hi Marlene,
It's a very interesting picture.
The placement of the bench in the front creates a nice sense of depth, so does the cropping also. Furthermore it gives a nice panoramic feeling.
Mystical place. Nice setup.
Have a nice day,
Christian

Hello Marlene,
yes this is a very nice shot of the serenity and peacefulness of the ake District. Much have been said, and your shot justifies it.
Excellent composition of the misty environment and very pleasing view.

Regards,
Foozi
