Glen Quoch is my favourite route into the high Cairngorm mountains and this morning a May sunrise made a perfect sillohuette from the stands of ancient Caledonian pine tress, many of which are 300 - 400 years ole.
To be priviledged to be alone in a place like this amidst unspoilt nature at its best is the essence of enjoyment of the wild places |
