Photographer's Note

For some strange reason the local bobbies have a real problem with photographers who set up tripods in this area so near the London Eye and they never tell you the real reason why. One bobby told me it was "a privacy issue" and another said "someone might trip over the tripod in the dark". Either way I got the distinct feeling those were not the real reasons, especially since they were a contradiction from each other.

Nice shot Gregory;

If it's any consolation- I was told the same thing by the 'London Eye' security. However, the guy was nice enough to point out where 'I could' take shots from (ie: outside the bullet markers). He even was nice enough to advise me to come back after 8pm (their official closing time). The wheel is still moving and lit, they just aren't selling anymore tickets.
Although a little bit overexposed, not an overall bad shot. I only wish I had been found this angle before my trip!

Although it's a bit overexposed in places, it's still an appealing shot- none the less.
