Hi, Lisa -
A nice wide angle shot, and beautiful light management.

Lisa-
Nice, will lit photo.
It seems you positioned the horizon in the middle of the photo. I think the shot would be a little bit more interesting if you would have shot it with more ground, or more sky. Both of the rocks and the sky are very interesting, I think it would have worked better either way.
It also looks like you have a problem with a lens hood that may be too small. There's some vignette going on in the corners.
Again, nice light management.

Hello Lisa, nice athmosphere in this picture, nice colours... like these kind of picture when clouds make a roof which help the eye to go far in the landscape...thank you

Fabulous light again, Lisa, particulary when I tilt the lid of my laptop back to darken it all.
I don't agree about the midway horizon being undesirable - to some extent the coloured parts of the clouds are a mirror image of the sunlit parts of the rocks and that makes the placement very satisfying for me.
best wishes,
Winifred

Hello, Lisa.
A very fine picture from the beach at Tyninghame but perhaps not of the same "star quality" as your last posting. The picture's a little on the small side - that would be my main complaint.
Like Winifred, I wouldn't worry too much about the central horizon: the wonderful sky makes up for that. I don't really worry too much (perhaps I should) about "rules of thirds" and all that - if it looks good, then it's all right by me. I live the rest of my life governed by laws and rules and I don't see that I should be restricted by them when indulging in a harmless hobby like photography!
The trouble with the polariser is that it's a bit thicker than the UV filter and so it does tend to cause vignetting on the widest setting of the 10-22mm lens. You certainly can't just stack the polariser on top of the UV filter as I sometimes used to do with the standard zoom.
Otherwise, a fabulous shot, though not quite as fabulous as the last one which is an absolute cracker!
Best Wishes,
John.
