| Hi, this is my very first posting on TrekEarth. I hope people like it. This was taken when I was on Holiday in Cornwall a few years ago and I just liked the simple idea of people enjoying a sunny day on the beach. At the time I only had a Kodak compact digital camera, and from that time I've been hooked on digital. |

Hello Lorna,
Welcome to TE! This is a nice view of daily life on the beach. The colors are very strong, and there isn't a cloud in the sky. :-) It seems like the water was closer to the foreground but then receeded. I see that there is a big patch of damp sand that people are walking on. Is that what usually happens on this beach?

Welcome to TrekEarth!
When I looked at this, I thought I recognised that old codger in his deck-chair and thought to myself, "I never signed a model release for this one....". But I now see that he's a good bit younger-looking than me....
A very nice relaxed picture with lots of fabulous detail, interest and activity, great colours and a deadly-straight horizon.
