Depuis la rive sud de la Tamise, à Londres, au pied du London Eye, une vue classique sur le quartier de Westminster : Le parlement et sa célèbre horloge Big Ben, et on aperçoit les deux tours principales de l'abbaye de Westminster sur la droite de l'image.

From Thames South Bank, in London, a typical view of Westminster district : Parliament and its famous clock Big Ben, and we can see the two main towers of the Abbey on the right of the image.

Beatiful shot! That is very interesing picture, blue sky in London!Without smogg, without rain and wet weather.

L'accentuation est peut-être un tout petit peu forte sur les bâtiments mais je crois que l'on serait nombreux à acheter cette belle carte postale aux couleurs de rêve!

Hello JB,

Encore une vision lumineuse et colorée de Londres. La partie bétonnée dans le bas de l'image aurait pû être croppée mais cela décalait peut-être un peut trop Big Ben vers le bas. La compo s'en serait ressenti. La couleur verte des armatures du pont resort bien ici.
Bravo !

This is an excellent image with nice colours. The warm tones of the building contrast very well against the blue sky. Nice framing of this interesting place. Sometimes I imagine London is all about fog but here I see is not. Thanks JB.

It's a postcard indeed!
Beautiful lighting and colour rendition and a nice composition. I can see what Henk means about the sharpness, but I think it looks fine. Lovely clouds in the sky. I think that is Westminster Abbey in the background. Yes, I just read your note! Nice shot.

The view is classic, but the golden colours say it's a Bubu picture ;-)
There is to much sharpness on Big Ben (hard contrasting lines), but that's the only point in your image, the rest looks great in colour and presentation.

I like your choice of vertical format here to compliment the upright orientation of the towers pointing upwards. This is somehow a slight variation of the rule-of-thirds ... perfectly applied. Image and color quality is very good too. Well composed .... excellent work! tfs

I am so envious of the wonderful light you had in London. We went down 3 weeks ago and only had grey skies and rain; maybe 2 hours of sun at the end of the week-end. This is a good classic view of Westminster. The hint of reflections on the Thames add a nice touch to the scene, with the green of Westminster Bridge complementing the golden tones of the buildings. Well done

What a nice postcard! Pleasant gradual blue, nicely contrasting with the yellow tones of the parliament building and the Big Ben. Wonderful. I also like the touch of the greens on the bridge. You punched that one up nicely. I like it!

i think you have the best london shots in your gallery JB... this is one of the best postcards of this great city... the pipe like thing on the bottom is a bit distracting but still ana amzing one with your golden touch on the big ben and the parliament...

La clarité et nettété de Westminster est telle que cela semble comme si c'est un objet en or. J'aime bien le nuage perché en haut de Big Ben et comment les autres nuages remplissent le coin de ciel.

This is a beautiful shot of parliament and big ben. The vertical format is great including that great sky and river. I believe that I would have cropped out the rail at the very bottom of the shot, just to clean up the image some. The lighting and colors are great as is the sharpness and detail.
