[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The Isabella Plantation is a small boggy woodland garden in the middle of Richmond Park. It dates from the 17th century and consists of ponds, streams, walkways and clearings which are all carefully planted but yet so very natural. It is a secluded place, and so very peaceful.

While I was there it was gently raining, which made it all the more enjoyable since hardly anyone was around and the smell emanating from the woodland plants and floor was simply divine.

Hi Casper,

goos capture and composition, the colors of the flowers are very impressive against the surround ambiance.
Good colors and POV.

Taba

Very pleasant view down the little stream with its footbridges. Looks like spring has finally sprung and the parks and woodlands are starting to truly come alive. A trip to Isabella Plantation beckons.

TFS, Roberto

Casper,
Nicely composed photo with the repeating patten of footbridges giving the shot depth. The stream leads the eye through the shot nicely creating nice direction. The lighting and colors are great with excellent sharpness and DOF. The yellow flowers add a great splash of color to the scene.
TFS,
Asa

Nice to see thefreshness of the yellow tulips, reminding of the spring just arriving. Has visited the park recently, awaiting for the full bloom in in the Isabela Plantation with my friend Bob (Broglia)
Regards, Balwant

Beautiful capture. Spring lasts but a moment so we must savor it for all it is worth. You captured this scene well. Good colors

Hello, Casper.

This is fabulous! The colours are wonderful, the exposure spot-on and the picture is razor-sharp. Excellent composition too. I can, like you did, almost smell that woodland!

Excellent!

Best Wishes,

John.

P.S. I bet you love that 70-200 f/4 IS? Makes me jealous!

Hi Casper,

Wonderful picture! Early spring and full o colour. The green is very fresh here. I cannot recognize what is this dominant yellow plant? I wish I could go there for a walk! Thanks for sharing

Hi, Casper
Through your very informative note I was fascinated with this picture and you are right I almost can feel the smell emanated from these woodland plants. Beutiful shot very well composed with excellent POV and framing. The yellows of the plants provided a wonderful contrast with the other elements of the capture. Well done. Best regards, Consuelo
