I much prefer the other one. The subject matter is mostly on the right hand side of the pictures, and the trees are too unattractive to be so dominant. The other one has much better composition.

Hello,
For the sky I prefer the other photo, but for the global lightning, I prefer this one. The point of view is also more original on this photo.
I like a lot the blur of movement put on the clouds by the long exposure time.
Yves.

Hi Jamie,
I like the overall! How did you do it? And when? Was it at twilight, in the evening or at night?
Cheers

Hi Jamie,
Comparing the two, I think I would go for the other windmill posting. I do like the zoomed out composition here. It's just the whitish cloud above the trees that does not do it for me in this one. Though still very nice. I feel the yellow pieces in the grass come out nicely here!

Hello Jamie,
I just love this night shot. Even the clouds look so great like this! Surreal!
Have a nice day!

Hello Jamie,
This photo of yours almost knocked me out of my seat when I opened it up from the thumbnails. It is fabulous! I don't think that most people realize how unique of a photograph this really is. This is a fascinating image which took superb technical skill to capture. The eighty second exposure was perfect and any longer of an exposure and the star trails would have become distracting. I love the inclusion of Ursa Major (The Big Dipper). The high clouds also prevented the Moon from becoming too washed out. Congratulations on a fantastic shot!

Hello Jamie,
as for me, your previous picture was much better, the trees are quite ugly and distract the attention from the beautiful windmill. But, on the other hand, this picture has got a little bit better colours, I think. Actually I like both, and I wish to be ale to take such shot myself.
Bravo

Hi Jamie, this is a remarkable shot also. As mentioned, little details like Ursa Major add to the overall effect. Iv never tried a night shot like this where the stars are clearly defined. I like the composition and the palette of colours you achieved here. I may have corrected the distortion on the windmill in this one at the expense of resolution. Very nice work..

hello Jamie,
a nice nocturne composition, I like the big dipper in the sky above the mill, also the cloudy pattern above the tree.
best regards
