[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Took my new lens out for a walk today! It was a beautiful sunny day (first we've had in ages!) with blue sky, as reflected in the waterlogged fields.

I've posted an alternative view as a workshop - on reflection I should have done it the other way round, as I think I actually prefer the second view.

I agree that the branch spoils it a bit - might have to have a go at cloning that out.

Charlotte: beautiful composition - very sharp, and life-like color saturation. Of course, perhaps it would be better without the branches. best, c

Hi Charlotte,
I also prefer the workshop version. Because the tree in the foreground is part of the action, in this one itīs not - or maybe yes ? or not :) Also the lines of the plough have a better graphical effect.
But Iīd give 2 points for each :)
Cheers Christian

Hi Charlotte,
A very well composed picture with these well combed fields in two different directions. The blue line of water and the reflections also add to to fine result. I canīt decide which photo I prefer, this or the WS, they are both good. The branches to the right is just a minor disturbance.

I love the diagonals, but the branches are a distraction for me. Once I looked at the alternative, I loved it, especially in portrait.

Hello Charlotte,
I prefer the other one that you posted in the workshop. But both are very nice. Good contrast of the lines and I love the reflections in the puddles.
Well seen.
Best wishes
Romana

Nice landscape shot although the branches in the foreground are distracting. I'm also not a great fan of the thick black frames (a little depressing).

James.

An almost very symetrical picture. I really enjoy the clarity in this shot and the deep greens. Even more so the reflections of trees in the little water that is present in the picture.

Hi Charlotte,
very nice shot.
I Like lines geometrie, natural colours, sharpness.
Perfect view point and depth.
Bye
Mario
