Hi Marc,

Did you try posting it to TrekMoon? Just kidding. You got it fairly well for the equipment. My experience though with the moon is that one should under-expose compared to what the camera tells, and avoid poses longer than a tenth of a second, to avoid blur. Since the earth moves around the moon (just a matter of point of view!) there's blur starting at even 1/10th! That said, there are other considerations about what the correct white balance to use for the moon. People into astro photography would certainly have their opinion, mine here is simply that the moon looks cold, I'd have preferred a slightly warmer color tone.
