Photographer’s Note
Historic Flatford Mill in Essex used the energy resources of the River Stour to make grain. It lies on the Essex side of the Stour with Suffolk on the other bank.
I used ND filters on this to soften the motion on the water and bring out some rich tones in the winter sky where the sun was setting directly in front of this lovely old mill house.
Thanks for looking,
TW

Hi Tim, a lovely capture of the evening light on the Mill. But sorry to have to correct you - Flatford Mill is on the Suffolk side of the Stour! Cheers, Colin.

Hello, Tim.
Beautiful! I cannot resist reflections on water and the sharpness, depth of colour and the exposure in this one are all spot-on.
Excellent!
Kind Regards and Best Wishes for 2008,
John.

Very nicely done Tim. I did not get to Flatford Mill when I was there. You have captured this warm winter light extremely well and it enhances the normal colour of the brick.
