Photographer’s Note

Harrogate is a cosy little town north of Leeds (some might go as far as calling it posh...) The statues on top of one of the central buildings were lovingly decorated this Christmas with a woolen cap and scarf each - to keep them warm, obviously.
I thought this one was the funniest, as the childish headgear strongly contrasts with the serious face.

Made me laugh - a good contrast as you say, taken from an interesting viewpoint.

It might have been worth cropping the sky a bit to reduce the grey?

I certainly never noticed this statue when I was in Harrogate - it looks newish.
