Photographer’s Note

Most people know of New York.
Well, this is the Old one, the original :)
The view is from the tower of York Minster, the second largest European cathedral after the one in Cologne.
The city is as far away from it's newer American version as possible, and this can be clearly seen by the skyline...

Thanks for the nice photo. Spent 4 good years in York and love the place. Have visited Cologne Cathedral but this is by far the better one in my eyes (mainly due to the fact the surrounding area has still kept it's old appearance).

I can't beleive that more people haven't commented on this picture. It has a very gothic feel. I also like the way you have captured the different architecture of York, from the Minster to the York Eye. Well done.
