Hi, Geof,
A very nice portrait of the English countryside. Thse brown bricks are unmistakably English.
Nice POV, clarity and neatness.

Hello Geof,
I don't think you can beat brick for a building material; it seems to me to have a warmth, a life even, all of its own. You have chosen a good point of view to benefit from the ambient lighting, which shows the brick here off to best advantage. I like the light and shadow play from the adjacent trees along the road.

Great image Geof. Takes me back 30 years to my youth and makes me feel more than a bit homesick. Not that I came from this place - but not far away and redbrick always looks so welcoming to me.
Kind regards, Paul.

Hi Geof.
Very appealing shot. The shadows and bricks have been mentioned; I particularly like the slightly rickety rustic fence, actually, and the lamp on a lean. Well chosen point of view to capture these lovely cottages to best effect in the available light. Looks like you did some judicious cloning, too.
Regards,
Andrew

I love these beautiful buildings and the fence. The lighting and shadows are very nice. As always great detail and color. TFS
Hi Geof,
This dominating wall is rich of texture and pattern and the red trimmings on the houses are also contributing to a fine picture. How much did you actually remove here?

Hello Geof,
A strong diagonal composition and a fine feeling of depth!
The low angle of the sun creates some fine shadows and adds a warm touch to the colour of bricks...
A nice place, a well composed image!
Greetings,
Pablo -
