Very beautiful POV! Nice colors and good sharpness
Thanks for this picture!

Hello Geof,
Another form of transport nearer home! I like the point of view along the canal and the positioning of the barge at the bottom of the frame; it gives the scene great depth. Nice ambient light and very good colours and clarity.

A good one, Geof.
The barge and tillerman is superbly captured in magnificent colour and light. Great point of view found here. Wonderful to see that curving canal stretch out to the horizon. Very nice shot.
Regards,
Andrew

Hallo Geof!
What a green landscape - in December - incredible! The whole picture radiates (is this the right word!?) calm and serenity and this wonderful light emphasizes this impression. You point of view really couldn't be better. A beautiful scenery!
Greetings from cold and cloudy Germany - and have a nice weekend!

Hello, Geof.

I adore this one. The wonderful peace and tranquility of the scene disturbed by that barge - but not disturbed very much at all - just that beautiful bow-wave breaking up the calm of that reflective water. Beautiful, natural colours too.

Looking at this again and for longer, I should like perhaps to have seen just a little more of the rough water behind the boat but that might have upset the tranquillity of the scene, I don't know. The other thing - do you think it's perhaps a little tilted to the right? Not sure. I think it's maybe the curve of the canal in the distance that gives that effect.

Anyway, these are all very minor criticisms of what is a great photograph.

Kind Regards,

John.

Hello Geof,
I like the composition and the way the canal is curving through the autumn landscape!
Great details and fine action, and I notice the track along the canal...

Hi geof

I like the sweeping curve of the canal, & the superb sharpness & reflections. The minimalist colour works well here. Good overhead pov. Tfs!

Hi Geof
Very nice point of view and interesting back lights on this typical British barge.
This canal reminds me Orléans canal in my place.
Cheers.

Hello,
I like canal and greens, excellent plases, well done.
