First Light On St Ives Photo

Photographer’s Note

A flash of red across the harbour at St. Ives Cornwall. This shot was taken from near the bus stop on the way down into the town. The panoramic views from here are amazing.

No trip to Cornwall would be complete without a visit to St. Ives. Even better to visit during late autumn or winter when the town is far quieter.

It's really a beautiful shot Ian !
Probably, you forced a little the saturation but this gives the picture a particular beauty.

Hello Ian.
Remarkable shot, for the colours, the composition and the scene itself. Hardly seems possible that it hasn't been given a bit of treatment, but it looks great anyway, with those amazing reds and blues and the range of tones in the sky. The houses across the small bay are so well defined. You chose a great viewpoint looking over the roofs. Superb shot.
