The World Pipe Band Championships, which is held annually in Glasgow Green is a prestigious competition and event has been long associated with Glasgow since 1948 and has sustained its growth for almost 60 years.
Glaswegians and visitors to the city have the opportunity to listen to some of the finest pipe bands from across the globe, from countries as far a field as New Zealand, Fiji, South and South East Asia and the Americas. Other pipe bands from various regions of the UK, Ireland and Europe are equally represented in the World Pipe Band Championships and compete in the ultimate 'Battle of the Bands' in Glasgow Green.

Hello Matt
I'm surprised to see so many of your photos without critiques. I like this one very much. A good idea to go for the kilts which provide a good diagonal and good perspective. Nice colours too. A successful shot.
