Photographer's Note
Second post of views of Statsraad Lehmkuhl in Lerwick Harbour, closer than the previous post. The weather is much better than when we arrived, slightly cloudy but nothing important. The other in workshop is taken from the same point of view, with a little less sea and a little more sky, but I prefer the balance of that one.
A very nice week to all.

Hallo Emmanuel!
What a wonderful view! I like that you included the surroundings here. Such a sail ship is beautiful it has a soul, it has a character, like ... like ... like a steam engine e.g.!
Greetings from Germany - and have a nice week too!

Hello Emmanuel,
Interesting how the distant hills remain in the shade to provide a contrasty backdrop for the well-lit sailboat, as well as the town. The giant industrial containers on the right makes a counterpoint to the rest of the image. I also how like the red building indtroduces color to the scene. Regards,
Hakan

Bonjour Emmanuel,
beaucoup de profondeur et aussi du contraste dans les lumières, des couleurs fortes, bien saturées et une netteté surprenante, pas de brume du tout.
Bien à toi.
Daniel.

Hello Emmanuel,
I'v never been to Shetland Islands, and it is striking to see the lack of vegetation!
This is a good view of the harbour, where of course Statsraad Lehmkuhl dominates the view...
A well composed image with good details, and also showing som e of the surroundings!
Greetings,

Salut Emmanuel!
Great composition, where all the element that appear with the scenary are placed on the right position in my oppinion, along with a very warm light and this beautiful opne angle that give us all this visual information.
Cheers, take care!

Hej Emmanuel,
It seems there were many interesting POV's to capture the ship from. This one is also great with the town as a very nice background. The composition is very good as well and the light pleasing. Good work!
Regards,
Lars

Bonjour Emmanuel
I like your interesting POV, taking the part of the house in the FG, extending onto the green boat & then the classic tall ship in white. The town in the BG with colourful houses and the dark hill create nice contrasts. Excellent colour tones and sharpness as always

Angshu
