Photographer’s Note
-= Turnberry Bay, South Ayrshire, Scotland =-
Hello again after a long break
This time I'd like to present a shot from my recent trip along amazing Ayrshire Coast. There are so many beautiful places that everybody can find something interesting to capture.
Turnberry Bay is not an exception - beautiful spot, full of wonderful colours & structures when the tide is low.
The Lighthouse visible in the distance is Ayrshire's only mainland lighthouse and stands within the remains of Turnberry Castle (where Robert the Bruce was probably born in 1274).
The small island on the right is Aisla Craig - a natural seabird reserve, which is considered to be one of the most important breeding sites for northern gannets. It is also a haven for other seabird species, including guillemot and razorbill.
Your comments/critiques much appreciated.
Piotr

Hi Piotr,
Nice view. You took good care to have an interesting foreground as well as an intersting background. The touch of green on the rock nicely constrats with the blue of the sea and the sky. Overall impression is peace and quiet ;)

Hi piotr,
Great capture, the light is very nice, either on foreground than in background.
I like the algues on the rocks and the lighthouse in the back.
Those are good elements to have the viewers eye occupied.
The frame is very elegant and strenghten the subject.
It's a very good seaside picture, i like it a lot.
Congratulations
Thomas

Hi Piotr,
Everything about this image is excellent...starting from the composition which is interesting and very peaceful to view. The lighthouse obviously plays a big part in the photo, as does the green seaweed and rock formation in the foreground, but to me the "cream on the top" is the lovely sky, along with the lighting. Overall a really outstanding photo. Well done.
Cheers Grant

Lots of colours and the compositon is vull of details. But in a way it is fascinating. I like the colours and the light, as allways in your pictures.
