Even if you can`t visit Scottish Highlands often you might know the Cullin Hills well from experience of other users of this website. I know this view is so popular on TrekEarth already, but the weather and light conditions are different in Scotland every day, so I was really tempted to make my own contribution to Elgol's beach shots.

No doubt this is one of the finest and most spectacular views in Scotland. Specially when you are able to admire all changes happening around there during the year and even the day.

This shot was taken a while before the sunset so sun was still quite strong. I tried to stress this fantastic atmosphere I was lucky to see.

This time I used my filter system in quite not popular way to get balanced exposure and show details of both - foreground and sky.

The light conditions were changing every minute so I captured some more views during that lovely evening and I think I will share them with you soon.

Hope you like it. Regards

Nice details and exposure balance, Patryk. Strong foreground and clouds evoke a sense of wildness to the photo.

Hi Patryk,

Tremendous exposure .. with beautiful detail and color .. and great depth ..
This is one of those places I will never tire of seeing here.
Could you tell me about your unpopular filter method : ) ???

take care,

John

Hi Patrick, very nice shot with this speed!
This place is fantastic and the composition, colors and lights are superb!

Super detail and a wonderful sky Patryk. However the element which impresses me the most is the movement in the water streaming around the rocks. Superb!

Witaj Patryk!

Nie widziałem wcześniej Twoich fotografii, a jest na co popatrzeć - piekne barwy, szerokie perspektywy i wspaniałe pejzaże. Uwielbiam takie klimaty. Znakomite zdjęcie

pozdrawiam

Deserves more attention from TE members. 18 points is not enough for this special image with great light and composition.
