Photographer’s Note
This is a view of Carnoustie's Championship Golf Course. This course was home of this year's (2007) British Open which was won by the Irish hero Padraig Harrington. He won by a play-off after drawing at seven under with Spaniard Sergio Garcia.
The town of Carnoustie is built on the revenue brought in by this event, which is hosted here almost every 5 years. It is on the east coast of Scotland and is not far from St Andrews, Arbroath and Perth.
This shot was taken on a sunday morning around a week after The Open.

Hi Scott,
Nice image here! I would have tried to crop just a little bit on the right and sharpen +5/10 through PhotoShop.
Well come to TE.
Ciao, Cristian

Hi Scott,
Welcome to TE.
Thanks for sharing a bit of history with all of us. I was happy that Padraig won because he is one of my favorite European players. I hope you enjoyed yourself as much as I did at the President'c Cup in Montreal.
I have to agree with Cristian's critique.
Cheers,
Paul

Fine photo. I believe that with darker tones of blue and green, the emphasize of nature on the sports would be stronger. thanks for sharing.
