Photographer’s Note

I spotted these two horses grazing in a nearby field and thought the scene looked attractive enough to stop and take this picture. That's heather you can see growing in the distance.

Northumbria really is a beautiful place and you would do well to add it to your itinerary if you ever decide to visit the UK.

Admin: I hope you don't decide to remove this image because of the horses which may be deemed "domesticated animals". Primarily, I took this shot to portray the beauty of the area and I hope this will be interpreted as such. The horses were included to provide an interesting feature as part of the scene.

Nice shot of the countyside Vicky. Good composition and sharp - the lines in the field are also pleasing to see.

A fine result of this countryscape setting V. I like the use of the tree and inclusion of the horses - both essential details for the good result. Maybe a little less light and higher contrast had worked as well..
