Photographer’s Note

Have just come back from a wonderful two week holiday in Northumberland, the only county in the UK where we hadn't had a holiday.

This is the view we had beyond the fence of our back garden! It was peaceful and beautiful and I've never seen so many rabbits and seen (and heard) so many crows!

Hi Vicky! Nice capture. The trees in the foreground are giving a 3D effect to your photograph. I edited your photograph to remove the sides which I felt were distracting the main view.

Hi Vicky. Ain't Northumberland great? Love the way you've used the trees and gate to frame the vista. IMO, you could crop a bit off the top to make it a little less dark and top-heavy. However, stunning view. Wish I was there! Regards, Paul.

PS - not a bad start for Sven's men - but I'm not counting any chickens yet! Hope we beat the filth in the derby today!
