Photographer’s Note
Beach at West Kilbride with Isle of Arran visible in the distance. A place full of amazing structures, creatures, shapes and textures - when the tide is low. These underlying rocks are red Permo-triassic sandstone about 200 Million years old - so the colour of the sand is kind'a red.

Hi Piotr,
amazing image! The low POV gives enormous depth to the image but more amazing i found all the different contratsting colours from the rocks, algie, sand and the greys from the mountain and clouds. Very good work.

Amazing light in this shot. The contrast between the reddish ground and the black sky is fantastic. The presence of the stones in the foreground adds perspective to the whole picture. Great !
