Hi Agata,
great place! I was there some years ago and loved it.
This is a lovely capture of the castle. But I am not sure it works the best. In spite of the good light the contours of the building are getting somewhat lost in front of the texture of the mountains in the back. I prefer your other photo of the castle on TE.

I think it's a very beautiful castle as you said. It's also a typical shot in TE. I like the light you have captured and the good quality image. Nice POV as well.

Hello Agata. I just read your comment on my photo, thanks a lot. So I looked in your gallery and found two shots of this castle. It has a special interest for me as it is the castle of the McRae clan, my own family name. The clan still are the constables of this castle, which is the most photographed in Scotland, maybe the world! Anyway, it is on many Scottish shortbread tins and packets! I have been there many times, but didn't take a better picture than this one. It stands out magnificently against the mountains and has a perfect light falling on it. Sharp and full of rich colour. Well done.
