Photographer’s Note
The slower pace when cycling through the suburbs of London recently has been revealing to me some gems of which I was previously unaware when driving a car. This Church (ST Mary's, I think), is at one entrance of Beddington park in the county of Surrey but under regional control of Greater London. Taken @ -.67 ev.

Hello,
I really like this picture. The colours are bright and contrasting. It really makes you want to be there and enjoy the building. I've never been to Beddington but this picture shows that it must be a wonderful place to be in.

Daniel

Hi Vic. Caught this one in the passing gallery. Lovely shot with the path a perfect lead-in to the well placed church, and really nice colouring. Seems you are getting some sunny days at last. Very good shot.

Andrew

Hello Vic,
This is a typical sight for what tourists go to England. Green grass, ancient tombstones, castle-like churches. One is expecting to meet a ghost here.
The composition with the path is great, and the sharpness is superb.

Good leading line to the church and superb sky that also contains clouds that point to the top right, typical English church yard that you found well considering your proximity to London .. a little gem

Hi Vic,
Great perspective to the castle. The diagonal road is an extraordinay guide for our eyes, and the feeling of depth is superb! The tombs dispersed in the grass add interest! And the sky is really beautiful, a great contrast of primary colors (greens, red, blue)... Terrific shot! Thanks.
Regards,
Angel.

Where's the terrier? You can't have a photo without this famous breedof terrier!
Very nicely executed with the subject off centre and the path sweeping up to the foreground. Though a slight adjustment of POV would have got it going into the lower left corner. That might work well too. But I was not there to see the pitfalls of my suggestion and in any case it might not work.
An excellant portrait of our English history.

Hi Vic,
A gem indeed. Ilike the placement of the path slightly off centre and leading the eye well into the frame. The light is managed well here, and there is good contrast. The clarity of detail on the church is impressive. A very fine capture, Vic. Greetings from the west coast of Canada.

Bonjour Vic,
Belle lumière, et belles couleurs, pour cette agréable composition même si le sujet est morbibe avec ce terrible premier plan.
A bientôt sur TE pour de nouvelles aventures.
