[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The latest addition to whitby`s fishing fleet, "OUR LASS II" built at Parkol Marine whitby a local family owned boat repair and building yard at a cost of 1.6million pounds. (for my inlaws) Started in october 2006 she was launched 34 weeks later 3 months ahead of schedule a great testament to the local craftsmen, she is seen here backed up to the warfe getting her nets ready and checking all her electronics before going to sea on her maiden voyage. "May god bless her and all who sail in her"
Tech data she is 21mtrs long (68ft10inches) a transom stern trawler rigged for both single and twin rigged trawling she carries 20.000 liters of fuel enabeling her to fish on the U.K and places like Norway,, she also carries 5.000 liters of fresh water

Hi Adrian,

Congratulations on your 100th posting, doesn't time fly!!

This is a good photo to celebrate with as it has great colours and bags of detail. It's nice to see a new addition to an industry which has suffered in recent times.

Adrian, really nice shot, I love almost all things associated with boats and the sea and this one is really interesting. My first thought was "where is the other halfof it?" but I see she is just tall for her length. I am assuming that since there is no open deck that the catch is handled in the relative safety under the deck. Is trhe blue arm on something behind this boat?

Shot is great, good color and detail and the sky has turned a documentary shot into a nice photograph. Nice capture.

Congratulations Adrian on #100. Great shot of the fishing boat and port with very good colour. Man, that is a big boat. Its maybe a tad dark but judging from that great sky, maybe it should be. In any case I thought I'd play a bit in a workshop and maybe offer you another option.

Congratulations Adrian for reaching one of TE's main milestones. What better way to celebrate than with a major family celebration! Good capture of the boat with a good reflection too.

Hi Adrian. And proudly flying the Union Jack too. She looks a sturdy and purposeful vessel, built to work. I’d love to see a photo of her in her element, say a decent North Sea swell. Well captured and thanks for sharing.

Hey Adrian,

Really love the way you've captured the profile of the boat, it would look awesome as a sillhouette against the sun on the horizon?! Maybe that can be your challenge - to follow the boat out to see and get a shot of it against the sun, with that big claw coming off the back it looks a bit like the neck of a swan and the rest of the vessel can be the body.

Hi Adrian,

a belated congratulations on your 100th post and it's good to see an addition to the fleet, it seems nowadays that they're more inclined to scrap boats rather than build them. No matter how you dangerous you think my job is I still wouldn't be a deep sea fisherman for triple my pay!! They're brave souls if slightly demented! Great shot mate, well spotted.
