Photographer’s Note
This is the second shot of Castlerigg Stone Circle in Cumbria. The sky was quite dramatic, shooting in RAW format retained all the detail I could ask for. Photoshop helped to pull the detail together to create this atmospheric shot. I'll put a third shot up tomorrow.

Very dramatic shot. I like the unusual choice to have the FG rock to take so much of the photo. Some members may feel the the work may be a little to photoshopped, but this appears to me to be a wise choice to present this area. Regards Rodney

hi Matt
great, dramatic shot. I like the point of view a lot, mood and conversion but also can see that first two stones "glow" a little bit. I suppose it is because of post processing (working on layers or hdr).
very good work

Hi Mathew,
You have really wonderfully communicated the feeling I imagine of such a place .. the tone .. the sky .. tremendous! I love the way the stones lead me to the light area of the swirling clouds.
take care,
John
