This is a shot I have posted on TrekLens before.
Representing a fun experiment I like to have with the London buses passing against some landmark - or whatever.
In shooting this I had sought out a bend in the road here where I thought had a potential for some really interesting streaks.

The greenish blur is the destination details (placed in a little screen) on the top of the windshield of this bus. The twin yellow lines above, are lights on the top and on either side in front of this bus.

While the bluish hint is from seasonal christmas decorations mounted in the street above and behind me as I shot this, and here reflected in the windshield of this bus.
This was a one-floor bus. Following closely behind it was a double decker bus.

Thanks for looking :)

très belle prise avec des beuax jeux de xouleurs et de lumières, très jolie entrée de métro le temps de pose était de...???

Hi Daniel,

A difficult, and thoghtful shot that is well managed. The composition is tricky, given the various elements, and especially having to anticipate their trajectory prior to their actually being there. Great colours, and focus in difficult conditions.

Fantastic invisible bus, Daniel
Tails of light create colorful perspective to the shot with dynamic curve. Greenish and bluish light made the shot attractive. Your exposure show beautiful bright city scene at night. I really like the motion of the movement in your shot.
Colorful night scene.

Hello Daniel!
What an amount of details in this photograph!!! I like your use of long shutter speed, that really delivered a good result here, well done!
regards,
viktor

Hello Daniel,
Splendid shot by night. These features of light are rather astonishing. That looks like a surrealist table.

Jean-Louis

Very cool. Those greenish lines remind me of the rings of Saturn. I love how they guide us through the photo. All the colors together look amazing.
Regards,
Ryan

Hello Daniel,
Awesome lines, very well enhanced by your carefully chosen point of view!
The colours of the night are great, and I'm impressed by the clarity of details in the architecture in the back!
Greetings,

:-) OK-

Excellent shot of Piccadilly Circus, and an unusual one (at least for me. Great color management, perfect sharpness and a very interesting graphical effect from those light lines.
TFS,
Ioana

Hi Daniel, without your thorough notes I would never have imagined that this was a bus going past.
The colours and lines are fascinating, and help to make a good composition.
Well done.
TFS, regards Jean.

I like to experiment like this (with London buses as well) this one has worked out so well - I love the effect of the curve and the combinations of the primary colours - the two symbols of the underground and the England flag tell us quite clearly where we are and I like the sense of the street activity going on - a very nicely framed capture.

Wonderful picture indeed ! I have seen your site and all your other shots and I'd say that you have done a great job. This one is gorgeous; colors, movement, contrast and compo.
Good stuff Daniel.

Best regards.

There you go again, candy colors make it look more like a merry go round with the purple fairy castle in the background than real London.

Hi Daniel, wonderful shot they are my favorites due to lighting effects, was this with your sony point and shoot and in manual? because I have a sony DSC 200 so I want to explore this area of the camera, many thanks
Salas

excellent photo and mixing of colors!

Regards,
Andrea.

Yo Daniel!

Wow, what expressive and vivid colour!! It's really like the exposure has been painted by a wild beast of colour! I think the composition you have used with the curve is great as it really does give the shot a constant flow to it... But for my liking its the colours!

Good work to really capture the energy of Pic Circus!

Cheers

This is my favorite. I really like the position of the camera. Again you know to use light.Really impressive shot.
Congrats,

Hi Daniel,
Nice composition with amazing colours. A different way to capture this tipical place on TE.
You have a great gallery of London.
Congratulations.

Hi Daniel,
Hey what a neat shot, almost looks like futuristic, I love the colors. Great techique .TFS

Beautiful!!!

Hi Daniel,
This reminds me of a legend shot by Rosaline, the capture of the movement taking the curve is excellent, the lights at the bottom looks a bit bright but the upper green part is superb, a beautiful and dynamic night shot.
Have a nice day,
Jean-Yves

Great shot and idea here Daniel!
I like your POV where the bus seems to be above you. The bend in the road certainly seperates this from other photos of the same nature.
Well done!

Hi Daniel. You did well to get such clarity in this one. The tripod sure helps this sort of situation. Another fine night shot in central London. Very fine result. TFS. Murray.

And in the bottom left hand corner are two yellow lines.
THEY MEAN DO NOT PART HERE or it will cost you over £60!!!!

Luckily it is ok to stand and take photographs. Thank you Lord! We aren't charged for that, just yet...

Daniel, an amazing photograph of the dynamics of Piccadilly. You have captured the moving lights of the bus so well, and the overall exposure is fantastic. Your note compliments your photograph perfectly.

Very well done - and thanks for sharing.

What to say except that this is kind of picture i'm running after when i go out at night to shoot ? Nothing else.

This is PERFECT

Hi Daniel,

I only stumbled across your gallery and wow do I like your vision! You are instantly one of my favorites and this is my favorite of your work so far. I love the sweeping green lines. They look like three-dimensional neon tubing or something. So inspiring. I'll definitely be watching and learning from you on TE.

Cheers!

Hi Daniel,
great composition and excellent light handling, taken from a very good pov. The effect obtained with the long exposure is very nice, especially for the green lines. My compliments!
Tfs and best wishes.

Daniel,
I've seen some of your night shots over on TL - and I'm happy to find a few more here on TE (my more usual haunt).
These are really impressive and spectacular shots - endelessly fascinating - and you've certainly made a good choice of camera ;)
Inspires me to try similar tachnique - but then we only get one car - or a tractor - coming by every 30 minutes!! ;) I jest, it's not that quiet.
Well done, and best regards.
Colin
