The way over the river

I am reposting this in B/W. I think it's much better this way.
I was in London for a day. I love the Tate Modern and that's mainly why I found myself crossing this bridge, the Millennium Bridge over the Thames river. It's a pedestrian bridge, metal, crowded, cool design. It was a Sunday, but I bet it's crowded a lot of the time seeing as it is in central London and it may be the only footbridge in the area.
Boats speed under, people traffic flows in both ways, but in this shot we see a neat perspective as I was standing on the ramp up to the bridge. |
