Photographer’s Note

Kinbane Castle is situated in County Antrim, Northern Ireland, on a long, narrow limestone headland projecting into the sea, approximately 5km from Ballycastle on the road to Ballintoy. Not much of the castle remains, and the path up to it is narrow and stepped. It was originally a two storey building built in 1547 by Colla MacDonnell, who died within its walls in 1558. Behind its defences lies a large courtyard with traces of other buildings, probably constructed out of wood. It also offers spectacular views of Rathlin Island.
Not much in PP, I changed the saturation a small amount and darkened the sky slightly to balance it better with the land.
