Photographer’s Note

We now move inside St Asaph Cathedral.

This is a view of the Sanctuary area of the Presbytery with the altar and reredos. This area stands at the east end of the Cathedral. The East window dates from 1864 and was installed in memory of Bishop and Mrs Carey. The finely carved stalls date from 1482. The Presbytery as a whole was much restored by Gilbert Scott in 1869-75.

The photograph was taken hand held with the ISO uprated to 800. Apologies for any apparent lack of sharpness.
