[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I found this dying tree that was surrounded by abundant spring growth. I was on my way home from yet another disapponting sunrise. The sun was trying to burn through the cloud cover, which it evtually did later.

I merged two exposures in order to retain detail in the tree and foreground.

Nicely seen, framed, and exposed. I like the message of the spring growth juxtaposed against the gray sky and dead tree. Life goes on. Fine composition too.

Hi Trevor,

very beautiful image with impressive subject and stunning colors.
It only seems to miss something in terms of clearness of the image.
The composition is nice

Hi, a lovely composition with the dead tree and the vibrant rapeseed contrasting with the grey skies and life 'going on'. Well done, regards, Jean

Hi, Trevor.

I liked your photo a lot.
The colors, the compo and the light are very nice.
That yellow colored field gives live to this picture.

Hello, Trevor,
Fantastic shot! I love that twisted old tree backed by the stormy sky and bright yellow field. Beautifully composed and very dramatic. Excellent work!! Kind regards,
Shelly

Hello Trevor
The acid yellow of the field more than compensates for the non existent sun! The combination of lush foliage and bare branches is dramatic, particularly against the lowering sky.
Best wishes....Maggie

Good composition. I particularly like the contrast between the daerk sky and yellow flowers. The effect really evokes the feeling of an iminent rainstorm.
