Photographer’s Note
With the shape of a sail, Spinnaker Tower representing Portsmouth's maritime history.
Rising 170 metres above sea level, the tower can be seen from miles around Portsmouth. Its glass floor is the largest in Europe.
Portsmouth is home to the world's oldest dry dock still in use and to many famous ships, which includes Nelson's famous flagship H.M.S. Victory. Portsmouth has declined as a military port in recent years but remains a major dockyard and base for the Royal Navy.

Hi Christian,
Well chosen crop with this impreesive tower protruding the sky. Its elegant lines, additionally enhanced by the bright blue sky, make it look more as a sculpture and less as a building.
There is some noise in the sky but that can be easily removed.

Hi Christian, this is the first time I have heard of this building, yet it is only one hour from where I live. Thanks for bringing it to my attention! This picture is taken from an excellent perspecive showing how the tower stands so tall above the other buildings.

Hi Christian,
A sunny and luminous image with a good vertical framing that fits to this construction, I also like the fluidity its curvy shapes give to the image. I prefer by far the left side as to the right despite preserving a nice architectural style it seems to get way too commercial to my taste.
Have a nice day,
Jean-Yves
