Weston-super-Mare is an English seaside resort town in North Somerset.

The town is situated on the Bristol Channel approximately 18 miles (28 km) south west of Bristol and has spread along the coast between the bounding high ground of Worlebury Hill and Brean Down.

It is well known for its sandy beaches, although at low tide the sea can be over a mile from the beach front.

Weston-super-Mare is the most populous civil parish in England.

The town's motto is "Ever Forward". It is twinned with Hildesheim, Germany.

A beautiful beach. I wonder what it looks like during sunny days. Your perspective of the resort is very good. You grabbed a good spot to take this picture and capture a long stretch of sand and buildings. Nice place and picture Andrew.

Ha, a picture from one year ago during your holiday to England, the diagonal perspective is very nice through the long water line with the white foam waves, excellent quality and totally other type pictures or out of Hong Kong. Thanks for sharing.

Hi Andrew. A comprehensive wide-angle view of the beach, with a good vantage point from the pier. The details of the beachside resort are well included, and I like the emphasis that is given to the incoming tide in the foreground.
