To be completely honest, Andre, I still think that the 'Mona Lisa Bobby' is the best one of the series, although each one of them has a particular detail that make it interesting.
This one is a great postcard from London, with amazing details and sharpness. I like the 'not busy' background that makes you to focused on the subject. That shining helmet is quite absorving here, along with the red elements. In the end, his face and expression is what is less exciting here - but then again, that's what their faces are supposed to show: «Authority & Austerity» and not excitment. What a boring job, this must be ;-)

Hello André,

Jolie série sur les uniformes en général. Ici tu as bien joué sur la dominante sombre pour rendre un peu plus austére encore ce portrait ! J'aime bien les tâches de couleurs rouges formées par les cols et la queue de cheval du casque !

Je constate qu'ils t'ont laisse sortir de prison !
Encore un beau portrait avec ton caillou de reference ou je constate que bien que les chromes soient astiques a la perfection ca n'empeche pas qq traces de la celebre humidite britannique, j'aime bien aussi ces touches de rouge qui illumunent la vue

Salut André,
Un portrait bien fait, dotée d'une expression imperturbable, dont j'aime bien le cadrage serré et le choix du format vertical. Le rouge ressort bien et tranche parfaitement avec les teintes plus sombres. On peut bien voir les détails du casque luisant...

It came out reather well. It reminds me a bit of photos of guards I have from Seoul. Nicely framed, I like the drtails of his headwear and the deep colors.

I like the twisted head. It really strengths the composition a lot. Once again I would prefer to see this taken with a longer exposure. The shadows are overcoming the picture (imho). It must be that editing problem you talked before. It's a pity the sword doesn't show a bit more...

Excellent portrait avec de détails à gogo! On voit même les gouttes de pluie sur le casque (ou est-ce de la transpiration :~))). Les couleurs sont magnifiques et le format vertical lui va comme un gant.

Hi Andre,
This one has a nice dramatic feeling to it with the dark clothes and the splash of red colour contrasting well with the silver hat and button. Very nicely composed and great use of depth of field.

Salut Andre,

Bien qu'ils ne disent rien je me sens toujours gene de les approcher et de prendre leur photo. Ici tu a realise un merveilleux portrait malgre des conditions de lumiere qui ne semblaient pas ideales. Bonne idee d'ouvrir ton diaphragme au maximum.
