Bristol Balloon Fiesta Photo

Photographer’s Note

This photo was taken at the Bristol Balloon Fiesta in August 2006 at the Ashton Court Mansion (see map).

When I was there, the wind was too strong for a balloon lift, but they inflated the balloons at the last moment so that the crowds were not disappointed.

At one point there was even a guy sitting on top of one of the balloons.

This year the Fiesta runs from Thursday 9th to Sunday 12th August 2007.

nice image of this colorful balloon - pity the wind was too strong - which such friendly shapes and colors, am sure the whole fiesta would have been a great succes ... but maybe this year you'll get luckier!
