Not much to say about this really, except it was the sight that greeted me when I looked out of my bedroom window this morning at around 6.50 a.m.

Underexposed by a third of a stop to make the colours bolder.

Resized and cropped a bit from the bottom.

Hi Vicky, I must remember to take my camera with me some days if there's scenes like this to record! At 6:50, I'm usually heading towards Chelmsford on my way to work in London. I love your sky and the contrast with the rooftops of suburban London is really effective. Regards, Paul.

Hi Vicky, I hope that all is well. Well done waking up in time for this early morning view, and a good choice to lower the exposure a bit and amplify the vivid colors in the sky. Also a good choice to have the silhouettes of buildings and trees placed rather low, giving the appropriate amount of attention to the colorful spectacle unfolding in the sky.
