Photographer’s Note
These two bugs were doing what bugs do this time of year!
They picked a strange place to do it though,on the face of a small stone garden wall.
I dont know the correct name of these small bugs but I liked the rich blue colour of them.
I cropped the photo and ran it through neat image.

I think your bugs are a species of the chrysolinas. You may check them out here. There are several blueish-black species, so it may be difficult to determine the subspecies with any certainty.
It's a very sharp capture of these two tinies. Good DOF and details.

Nice to watch Andy and I quess there properly will be more bugs to shot next year - fine macro and good DOF.
