It's probably Calocera palidospathulata (says my fungus expert in residence) - great shot Rob!

Fungus make for some very interesting macro landscapes. I like how the light goes right through these.
I like theidea of the long panorama view but would prefer it without the tips of the second row at the top being cut off.

Lovely fungus Robert. Your panoramic view is wonderful allowing us to explore the lovely textures from the all image. Good colors too. Good job :)

Attention prevention, there's a fungus among us... Sorry, I couldn't resist. This kind of photography is a mystery to me and I don't naturally gravitate toward it, yet this image reminds me of the abstract images I've been playing with and I feel I have to acknowledge how intriguing I find it. The yellow fungus marching along the twig, gradually rising from the seam spiraling along the wood, is remarkable and engaging. Lovely photo, well processed and presented.

Robert, I really love the presentation of these yellow fungi. The horizontal line of them looks almost like little people all in a row. Pretty cool things these fungi I think.
I think you might be right on the ID for the ones I posted on TN. We also found some bright yellow ones, that looked like bells, but my photos of them are blurry. Have to learn to take a tripod I guess!
